Indonesia Ready to Compete for MotoGP 2017

Afif Sports - The good news came the Indonesian people who love MotoGP, the article as the organizer Dorna MotoGP, has allowed Indonesia to compete in MotoGP agenda in 2017 together with Thailand and Finland.
Thailand has Chang circuit, while Finland will build a new circuit called Kymi Ring. Indonesia also has the Sentul International Circuit located in Babakan Madang, Bogor.

Indonesia believe can fix the circuit within the next two years. This came during a press conference entitled 'Road to MotoGP in 2017' at the Ministry of Tourism, Sapta Pesona Building Wednesday, May 20th, 2015.

In the event, attended Tinton Soeprapto as Director of Sentul Circuit, Dorna CEO, Carmelo Ezpeleta, Chairman of the Association of Motor Indonesia (IMI), Commissioner General Nanan Soekarna and Minister of Tourism, Arief Yahya. Ezpeleta hoped Indonesia could hold MotoGP, while three figures representative of Indonesia wants this opportunity well utilized.

"The honor for us to be here, Indonesia is one country that is a lot to watch MotoGP. We are proud to offer an opportunity for countries wishing to organize MotoGP. There is still much work to be done by Indonesia, but we are sure they can organize it, "said Ezpeleta that comes directly from Madrid to Jakarta.

"Confession (to the Sentul Circuit) ever given (Jorge) Lorenzo, (Marc) Marquez and (Valentino) Rossi, stay embodied (hosted MotoGP). We already have the Sentul Circuit, living modified according to standards given Dorna, "Tinton added.

MotoGP performances in Indonesia is not new, the article Indonesia had organized it in 1996 and 1997. The 1996 season ordain as a world champion Mick Doohan in the 500cc class, while 1997 is Tadayuki Okada. Rossi also never tasted Sentul Circuit when winning the 125cc class in 1997.
